Curious Minds "The Story of Birds” by Professor Steve Brusatte, Edinburgh University

Our well-known palaeontologist is back! In the first season of Curious Minds Steve Brusatte told us about Dinosaurs on Skye. He followed that with a talk on the story of Mammals. And now he’s back to tell us how birds evolved from raptor dinosaurs in the Jurassic into the creatures we know and love today. The story of birds is one of resilience and adaptability. Steve will tell that tale, along with his own adventures of collecting fossils and discovering new extinct species in this engaging talk for families and the general public.
