Jen is the CEO of a thriving semiconductor manufacturing company specialising in Silicon Carbide power transistors. SiC can handle much higher currents, voltages and temperatures than conventional Silicon. That makes SiC the preferred material for use in applications like Automotive, Solar, Wind and Aviation. Jen will tell us about the technology, and the applications as well as how the legacy of Scotland’s “Silicon Glen” has led to a cluster of very successful advanced material companies today.
