Strathearn Library will be host author, Allan Martin as part of National Crime Reading Month. Allan will be promoting his new thriller, The Dead of Oban.

The Dead of Oban features DI Angus Blue who is drawn into the mystery of the missing bookshop owner, Aino Carselaw after a body is found. But this is just the beginning. There are books out there, worth millions, worth stealing and worth killing for. Allan Martin’s Angus Blue series is a popular crime series and this new novel will delight his readers.

Allan previously worked as a schoolteacher, teacher-trainer and university lecturer. After taking early retirement he began writing fiction and has never looked back. He has also written two novels set in 1930s Estonia as well as a book of short stories.

This event supports National Crime Reading Month.
