The Lumen Trio will be playing in the first of our annual ‘Emerging Artists’ concerts.
The Lumen Trio came together in during their studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Each musician of the trio brings to the table an array of innovative and unique interests, such as early music, cross-genre music, and collaborations with other performing arts disciplines, and melds them together to form this energetic and cohesive ensemble. The Trio believe in careful and thoughtful programming, with pieces often following a central theme or purpose. In 2024, the Lumen Trio was awarded the Mary D Adams Prize for Chamber Music.
