Fancy trying your hand at writing some Gothic fiction? Join acclaimed author Fiona Barnett for a creative writing workshop on writing nature-inspired Gothic fiction!

Hailing from the New Forest, Fiona will guide you in crafting stories that blend the beauty and terror of the natural world, drawing on some of her favourite things: history-filled landscapes, inaccurate maps, secret ulterior motives and dreadful weather.

Her debut novel, The Dark Between the Trees, was published in October 2022, and her short fiction has appeared in Haunted Voices: An Anthology of Scottish Gothic Storytelling.

This event is supported by the Eric King Chiu Lo Legacy.
