A guided walk with Sabrina Willekens.

Come along to a guided walk to discover Perth’s Georgian history and elegant architecture. This was a time of dramatic change for the royal burgh and it is still visible today. In various locations, your guide Sabrina will bring to live decisions and aspirations of people that were influential in Georgian Perth and who turned a small medieval craftis toun into the large modern, industrious, attractive and elegant destination we still see today. She will tell you about Perth’s Georgian inhabitants, how they felt and what they did to negotiate the long century with all its challenges, improvements and innovations.

We meet at 2pm on the River Tay viewing platform at the junction of Tay Street and High Street. The tour will take two hours and will cover about 2km of walking in total with frequent stops and opportunities to sit. Please come suitably equipped for the weather on the day and wear comfortable shoes to walk in. The tour will be completely outdoors.

Places are limited and pre-booking is essential.
