Hands on Art Family Session: Tea staining paper fun

Be inspired by the letters we have on display in the Legacy of Mary, Queen of Scots & The Last Letter of Mary, Queen of Scots displays and learn how to create your own! Join us as we mix art and history! Make your own old-fashioned looking paper with some simple ingredients and have a look at how they used to write letters in Mary, Queen of Scots lifetime! We’ll also be having a go at writing and painting using some feather quills.

All materials provided; just bring your creativity.

This workshop is suitable for children aged 5 – 10 years, but all ages are welcome.
