The European Pipe Band Championships return to Perth in 2025!
One of the biggest competitions in the piping calendar, this exciting event brings more than 100 pipe bands from across the world for an unforgettable day of Scottish traditional music.
This all-day spectacle promises fun for all the family with trade and food stalls on site, as well as funfair and more.
Don’t miss the chance to see and hear some of the finest pipes and drum majors in the world at the South Inch in Perth.
Gates will open at 08:00 with the first band playing 09:00.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PARKING
If you are booking parking alongside purchase of your event ticket, please use the "Book Now" button on the right, and you will be given the option to add parking to your purchase.
Should you require to book only your parking, then please use the "Pre-Book Parking Only" button. This is not inclusive of your entry, so should you need to buy a ticket to the event, please use the "Book Now" button, or you will be expected to pay entry on arrival of the event.
FAQ's
Will there be parking available? Parking will be on the Lesser South Inch – Opposite the main south inch on the Edinburgh Roadside –entrance will be from Tay Street. £5 per car. Park and Ride will be available at McDiarmid Park from 9:30am – 7:30pm - £5.00 per car.
What accessible facilities are there? Blue Badge Parking will be provided at the South Inch, hard standing, please show your badge on your dashboard, you do not have to book a parking space. Access into the grounds will be through the four main entrance points. The entrance gates will be wide enough to take wheelchairs and access scooters.
Do Children go free? Under 16s - £10, Under 5s – Free
Will there be toilets? Changing facilities area for babies/toddlers? Portaloos will be available onsite, with one booth being for baby changing at every group of toilets. Please dispose of any nappies in the appropriate manner.
Will there be a First Aid area? St John’s Ambulance will always have two stands on the Inch, during the event, one at either side.
Can I bring my dog(s) onto the South Inch? Absolutely, no problem at all, please make sure that you have plenty of poo bags with you and dispose of them in bins across the site. Please keep dogs on leads at all times.
Will there be stalls etc on the South Inch? Will it be cash or card? Various stalls ranging from confectionery to tailoring and everything in between, why not have a visit round the stalls, cash or card will be accepted.
Will there be food available at the South Inch to purchase? There will be several food vans available with different food types, both hot and cold. There will also be coffee vans on site. Cash or Card will be accepted
Can I leave and re-enter the European Pipe Band Championships? Absolutely, once you enter the park you will be given a stamp on your hand/wrist, please show this to the stewards on your return into the ground
