Dr Jade Scott, historian and expert in Mary, Queen of Scots’ correspondence, presents her acclaimed book Captive Queen: The Decrypted History of Mary, Queen of Scots, bringing Mary’s letters to life. With exceptional clarity and warmth, she reveals how Mary’s correspondence offers fresh insights into her captivity and agency.
