
Chansons, Perth's Chamber Choir, are performing a concert featuring Bob Chilcott's engaging choral work setting five of Aesop's famous fables . Chilcott's masterful musical setting brings each story to life, from the groaning mountain to the dozing tortoise at the end of the race, resulting in a characterful portrayal of these moral tales that is sure to appeal to audiences of all ages. Beside this work, Chansons are performing settings of many popular folksongs collected from around the UK These include:
