Over the past 12 years, the main Festival, in October in Blairgowrie, has gained a high reputation for its combination of professionalism, friendliness and its impressive list of outstanding authors and Chairs. We showcase the well-known; Sally Magnusson, Ali Smith, S G MacLean and Chris Brookmyre. Just as importantly, we introduce new talents who make unforgettable debuts and forge long-lasting friendships with us; Olga Wojtas, Simon Conway, Merryn Glover, Chris Whitaker. A wide variety of fiction is programmed with poetry, nature-writing, history, memoir, drama and song, offering something for everyone.
