Laura Shepherd-Robinson with Rosemary Goring – Fresh Eyes on Georgian England

Since her first novel Blood and Sugar, published only 5 years ago, Laura gained impressive plaudits from the best of the best historical writers, such as C J Sansom and Hilary Mantel. Her 3 novels set in Georgian England are meticulously plotted, with characters that, once met, are never forgotten.  Her latest book The Square of Sevens is on our shortlist for BOOKMARK Book of the Year 2024.  Chaired by our Patron, Rosemary Goring, who also has a keen eye on history, this promises to take us all on an exciting journey into the past.
